Pacific Standard's poetry and fiction reading series were called, by New York Magazine, no less, "Best New Literary Event of 2008".
Poets have included Joshua Mehigan, George Green, Kimiko Hahn, Cate Marvin, Roger Sedarat, Brenda Shaughnessy, Richard Levine, Monica Ferrell, Brian Carey Chung, and John Brehm.
Fictioneers have included Francisco Goldman, Samantha Hunt, Joshua Ferris, Christopher Sorrentino, and Colson Whitehead.
